Since then she has toured with artists such as David Gilmour, Pearl Jam and Deftones and most recently with Mura Masa and Yungblud. Specialising in audio, Freyja also brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive touring experience as well as her own unique perspective as an industry minority and hopes to further influence the necessary changes needed to promote diversity. FLISS JACKSON

COURSE LEADER

Fliss is a musician & live vocalist who has been performing with Mura Masa as his front woman since 2016, executing show after show with her highly adaptable vocals and mutable performance style, as well as being involved in a number of projects from songwriting collabs to singing backing vocals for different artists.

Working in the live music industry through the years, she has long wished to see more diversity and representation of the BIPOC women and non-binary individuals and other in the touring tech spaces. She contributes a support system of a safe space and encouragement along bringing her knowledge from her lens of experience in live music as a touring performer and a black woman, along with her ever growing curiosity to learn alongside with the students whilst assisting, and willingness to get involved in anyway she can to help lift up marginalised and underrepresented people into the live tech spaces.

FELICITY HALL

COURSE LEADER

Hi! I’m Felicity, one of the teachers on the 3T course. I’ve worked as a tour manager for almost 10 years, working mainly in rock and jazz.

Teaching on the 3T course is one of the greatest projects I’ve been involved with. The industry is crying out for more women and people of colour, and I’ve been blown away at how eager to learn, talented, and dedicated our graduates are.

I was brought on to teach the tour management aspect, but many of our sessions also covered the mental aspects of working in music – discrimination, relationships, emotional overload and so much more – and the graduate group has carried on being a place where people can speak freely about issues and ask for advice, which is something that’s often hard to find in this industry.

I’ve hired three graduates already for various jobs and to cover me for gigs, and the feedback has been nothing but positive. The chance to meet, train and hire hungry, passionate and exceptional women has brought nothing but benefits to myself and so many of the people I work with – any production lucky enough to have a 3T graduate working for them is richer for it.
